QLD SRA Flood Relief Fundraiser
Qld Flood Relief Fund – Fund Raising Ride
Open to all Motorcycle/Trike/Scooter enthusiasts
Meet at Pro Motorcycles Ipswich, 359 Brisbane St, for 10am departure.
Cost will be $15 with ALL funds being presented to a representative of the Relief Fund organisers at Murphy’s Creek Tavern at the completion of the Ride.
There will be refreshments and light foods available at the Tavern.(free or at cost)
Prizes will be awarded in several categories that will include (but NOT exclusive too):
Best Honda Shadow
Best Japanese – not a Shadow
Best British
Best US/Can
Best European

Route to be followed will be from Brisbane St, Ipswich along the Cobb & Co Trail until Laidley. We will then run out to Warego Hwy turn to the west and make our way to Gatton. From Gatton the ride will travel the old Highway through Grantham and then onto Helidon where we join the Warego Hwy proper and head towards Toowoomba. Turning right at Helidon Springs we will then
follow Postmans Ridge Road and Murphy’s Creek road to our final destination the Tavern.
Care should be taken at all times during the Ride as we will traversing many areas that have been flood effected. Speed is not a necessary factor on this ride and no-one will be permitted to pass the NOMINATED lead rider. Staggered riding procedures, as normal for group rides, should be observed.
There is no recovery vehicle available at this time.
There will be two (2) riders nominated as path finders and will direct us
Through towns and entrances/exits from Major Roads and Highways.
